Been playing #Borderlands4 but can already feel myself drifting away.
It's 'meh'.
Gunplay is fun enough, despite the usual trick of withholding ammo to force you to switch guns. But the set-up - repetitive 3 boss framing pretending to be 'choice'? *Empty* kinda bland open-world. Meh.
Skip it.

The new #NoMansSky update lines up a bunch of old expeditions. Can't remember which ones I've done and which I haven't so... yay?
Didn't mind the recent Voyagers update that introduced Corvettes. Nice idea, customisable ships. But, it's like "Would you like a new ship, too big to park anywhere?".

So, I've finished Power Wash Simulator 2 - it was fun in much the same way the first game was. A very chill experience.
Not a great deal of improvement. Might have been nice to have all the messages voiced, for instance.
So, cue the tidal wave of licensed themed DLC?

So, I've finished Power Wash Simulator 2 - it was fun in much the same way the first game was. A very chill experience.
Not a great deal of improvement. Might have been nice to have all the messages voiced, for instance.
So, cue the tidal wave of licensed themed DLC?

Having the same problems with 'The Outer Worlds 2' as with the original. I'm BORED!
Empty landscapes with very few points of interest spaced far apart (with very little of interest in them) and the odd smattering of bullet-spongey enemies. Story dull, humour flat. Just all-in-all a drab experience.

Another minor #NBA2K26 bug I forgot to mention - in MyTeam when you've opened a pack for a 'special' player and you get the TRON tunnel walk.
The framerate absolutely tanks in this section for some reason. Steam claims it's getting about 20fps (typically 120+ for me) but it looks closer to 3fps.

Another minor #NBA2K26 bug I forgot to mention - in MyTeam when you've opened a pack for a 'special' player and you get the TRON tunnel walk.

Further thoughts on #NBA2K26 - single player is fun, feels more fluid. Can't speak to online play. MyCareer forces a training game on you. Went badly, connection not great.

Been playing #NBA2K26 ('cos I'm weak) and sure, it feels like a step up. Growing to like metered shots and boy, is the title screen a step up.
NO forced 2KTV! Doesn't look like a basketball-themed M.C.Escher hellscape. No 'pop-ups'! Dynamic. I'll even forgive the gross Steph Curry guard chew!

I wonder if one of the 'many' improvements in #NBA2K26 will be fixing the bug that's been in the current game's entire lifetime where it randomly decides it won't let you exit MyTeam. Jamming the button to quit and nothing happens!🤬🤬🤬

Gave Oblivion Remastered a bash (thanks Game Pass). It's very pretty but it's beat for beat and I while I liked the original, I loathed the copy/pasteness of the Ayleid ruins, and Oblivion gates? Yawn!
But it put me in the mood for absolutely-content-modded-up-the-wazoo Skyrim SE, so there's that.🥳

Yeah, I'm somewhat taken with FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time at the moment. It pushes all the right buttons and for this game, I'm all buttons. Cosy relaxed exploration, gathering, crafting, arcade combat & the 'lives' feeding into one and other. Good!

So my PC 'ploded last week and my gaming has mostly been iPad and Switch based. Needing an NBA 2K25 fix, I had a look at the iPad's 'arcade' version.
Surprised how solid it was. Plays a good game. Obv. omissions here and there. No story in career. Based on old-gen (steals work again!) but good-ish.

So my PC 'ploded last week and my gaming has mostly been iPad and Switch based. Needing an NBA 2K25 fix, I had a look at the iPad's 'arcade' version.
Surprised how solid it was. Plays a good game. Obv. omissions here and there. No story in career. Based on old-gen (steals work again!) but good-ish.
