This afternoon we met with an LBB officer to look at the flooding over the Cow Path and discussed with him some of our own investigatory work.

A plan will be drawn up as soon as some more investigations have been completed, including with Thames Water.

We’ve just heard about a road traffic collision at the junction of Ashfield and Heathfield Lanes. Ambulance and police in attendance. There is significant traffic congestion in Chislehurst as a result.

Wd do hope those involved are ok.

IMPORTANT- HORNBROOK HOUSE CAR PARK CLOSURE ⛔️⛔️⛔️

The Council needs to close Hornbrook House car park this Thursday, 6th February, in order to carry out some essential re-surfacing work. The surface is breaking up badly and there are many potholes.

Right decision but absolutely should never have been proposed in the first place and certainly not without conducting a comprehensive EIA first.

Openreach will be working under temp traffic signals at Green Lane, Chislehurst at junction of Mead Road from Thursday 06/02 for 2 consecutive days to complete fibre optic related works.

🚦restricted to off peak times (09:30-14:30) & should not be in place outside these hours.

Re today’s congestion on A222 -
UK Power Networks (UKPN) are working at Bickley Park Road, (Wednesday 08/01) under temporary signals whilst they make urgent repairs to an electrical fault.

The works are at the junction of Coates Hill Road and are expected to be in place until late this evening.

Green Lane - an update
Thames Water advise work completed on Mon c 3pm.

Backfill due today & permanent reinstatement tomorrow. The tarmac will then have to cure before traffic mgmt can be removed & site cleared.
Afraid will continue to be disruption for another couple of days

We continue to see reports about the potholes on Orpington Road. We hope they will be fixed asap.

A reminder that, following our continuous pressure about the condition of this road, it is due to be resurfaced this Spring, along with a few other borough roads; please see below:-
