I'm not an attorney, but it seems to me that the SCOTUS has had a serious thumb on the scale of justice the past few years. I think their insulation from accountability also facilitates corruption. We see evidence of that and it is extremely sad.

I would not be surprised if in ten years we look back with abject horror at all the crime, graft, incompetence, arrogance, ignorance, selfishness and cruelty that was Trump's MO. My dog could shit a better President.

Who knows, right? Epstein's business was apparently a combination of money laundering and blackmail. Highly unsavory stuff. I can't even imagine what is needed to shake MAGA loose from his grip. One thing is for sure, a too large slice of the American population know nothing about civics or crime.

ICE didn't exist prior to 9/11. In a way, Bin laden won. His attack on the WTC prompted a security response which has morphed into what we see today. It's textbook fascism. It must be stopped or American democracy is finished. That's how serious this is.
