i grew up loving turn-based rpg games. when i first got my 3ds, id spend hours evrydy on M&L: Dream Team in awe of its unique puzzles and odd charm~ i remember that rewarding feeling when i finally figured out how to beat a hard boss.
it felt like magic how people even created games period.

bit of a progress update
ive taught myself more music theory and animation techniques and recolored my sprites to appeal to the eyes more. also started animating in 12 fps and smoothing my other anims too.
sour note: college starts in 4 days e.e

im happy about the progress ive made in my game (hint hint- 2 week streak on git). id share more about what ive done but i dont wanna reveal all my secrets ;) lets just say things feel more lively. also ive definitely got lore planned for this game, but i aint sharing that til its finalized.

smear frames are fun. ive started messing around with them in my animations and they definitely add a layer of fluidity

id love to make more digital art. it was relaxing. i used to be an artist until i made game dev my whole thing. and im not planning on changing that because game dev is my passion. but maybe i could make some digital adaptations of my pixel art from time to time.
