3) Are there words or characters with more/less space consistently? yes! There are. The word pairs that most consistently have the most space between them are daiin-chol in A, and those that have the smallest spaces are or/ar- in B. ALL examples of or- or ar- + space are smaller than average

Answers! 1). Spaces are not randomly distributed across a line. This is a plot of line position against Zscored space (0 is average; the more negative, the smaller the space; each unit is one standard deviation from the mean). Spaces between words get shorter over the line

I got some nice quilt fabric for Christmas so made a cover for my Voynich unbound copy. It's the one I scribble over. It's unbound but I usually want to refer to it together so I sewed elastic to loop through each quire
