I truly hope that the USG isn't completely dropping efforts to monitor / defend against foreign disinformation campaigns... but that seems increasingly to be the situation.

Assad's troubles don't appear to be slowing down after the initial rebel offensive in the north. Reading reports this morning of the regime losing control in several areas in the south of the country. ISW has their work cut out for them on yet another conflict.

I had someone very close to me that was a bit like Elon… super intelligent, but very very confused about reality. It’s a bad mix that leads to swirling down the drain of conspiracy and delusion. I hope Elon gets the help he needs, but in the meantime can he just STFU?
