Everything fundamentally should expose a command-line or API-level local access endpoint. Devices and services removing direct interfaces in favor of opaque, cloud-only, or GUI-gated control is both a technical regression and a vendor lock-in tactic.

It's not just pure economic.
It's their design, their organization and how they make products at that price point.
My observation was that they should highlight more their contribution.
