Sure Charlotte citizens preparedness was part of it. But Could it also be that NC is generally a red state and even though Charlotte is a blue dot there, plenty of powerful Republicans had to deal with the chaos and disruption of the ineffective ICE and CBP presence.

The program also uses 19th and 20th century illustrations like you’d find in a middle schooler’s textbook. Wonder if any were created for the program?
