As far as I can see from my research, the parish is unique in having an exclave which you need to cross Provincial boundaries to reach!

Old Radnor was one of the ecclesiastical parishes containing land in both England and Wales, so the parishioners were given a vote in 1915 as to whether they wished to remain with the CofE or join with the CinW. They chose the CofE.

I know a Vicar who reported that his fridge had broken down 'at some point in the last 3 months', noticed only when he wanted the one thing in there, a bottle of champagne, opened the fridge and it wasn't cold.

Or that this will encourage decay prior to closure?

The research we're doing in Wales atm suggests that abolition of EE would completely cripple secular LBC system so yes, should be keen to avoid that!

Trying to understand the argument here and probably being dense (I don't like the proposals, for different reasons!).

That if it's easier to close a church, it will happen more frequently which will lead to more churches decaying before LB enforcement has practical chance to get involved? 1/2

But once the building is closed the Ecclesiastical exemption expires and Listed Building Consent becomes required again.
