Well, it's official: I passed year two (at Southampton philosophy we have to pass a viva every year because we like to be ✨extra✨) and am now enrolled in year three. Of seven, because I'm part time. Expected end year: 2030, which when I applied for the PhD felt like ages away and now doesn't.

On Thursday at 2pm the Death Cluster is meeting on Zoom to discuss eco-anxiety, aka the increasing number of people struggling with their mental health because of climate change and environmental concerns.

I just read the first assessor's report on my project. One of the things I wrote in the submission was that I'm aware the project is too broad and will need to be narrowed down. He says he's glad I am aware of this because he has identified thirteen possible PhDs within my proposed thesis 😂 #phdlife

London Rromale! I have found a place that does ACTUAL PROPER SARMA. And look I know it's not the most Instagram friendly of foods especially in a takeout box but OMG if you are looking for the proper flavours of your childhood they are HERE. 😍

He gave me some local anaesthetic, which didn't work because it never does, but the injection wasn't too bad anyway and I was in and out within an hour including waiting time, which is pretty good.
