Chronically unemployed actor. I'm writing a book about all the oddball day jobs I've ever had and how I eventually just ended up a guy who sleeps on the beach every night and is very happy not paying rent anymore. I'm writing a book about it.
Second adaptation I've watched in the past two days that has turned this classic quest novel into a contemporary revenge story with a plot line not in the original book. This one was a little too modern and stylistic for me. Didn't even finish the first episode.

Lot of confusion from different websites on the order in which these Dumas books are supposed to be read but I think I have it figured out. Next up is Ten Years Later.

So, I'm up to "The Vimcomte of Bragellone." It's 3000 pages so it should keep me busy for awhile. Then I'm going to take a break,read some shorter books to catch up to my reading goal for the year and then on to "The Count of Monte Cristo."

Tonight's movie was 1974's "Les quatre Charlots mousquetaires", a French slapstick spoof of "The Three Musketeers", where the 4 lackeys take center stage and are the heroes of the story. Even if you don't speak French (like me) if you've read the book you can still follow the story. Lots of gags.

Just because I despise Donald Trump and MAGA do not think for a second that I'm a Democrat because I'm not. I think Kamala Harris was just as unqualified to be the President as Trump is, just in different ways.

My daily public library rant. Why is it always so noisy in here? You can't even read a book in this place. And if you politely ask somebody to stop talking because they're in a library they all cop attitudes, curse you out, and just talk louder. I am sick of this shit. The 21st Century sucks.
