The vets I left her with had me sign a waiver for the boarding, I don't think I can hold them accountable for this.
I feel so broken and powerless that there was nothing I could do in the days I had her to help her recover.

I got back an extremely lethargic, weak, skinny snake, struggling to move. The starvation was so severe that her scales had begun to flip outwards on her sides. I tried feeding Lava a day after I got her back but she showed no interest, the vets gave me a feeding tube but I didn't try it yet.

Over the 15 days I was gone, I was called twice about Lava regurgitating her food, but not once did they stress how severe her starvation was. The vets even charged me over $300 for an x-ray (where they found nothing) and told me to bring her in next week for a second check.

Lava was showing no signs of illness or stress while I had her, I had even taken her for a checkup to these same exotic vets a month prior to verify if my new snake had health conditions to watch out for. This is her the morning I dropped her off at the reptile Boarding, perfectly healthy.
