Soylent Green

The twist in the movie is so well known, but I haven't seen it. However, I’ve read the book it’s based on “Make Room! Make Room!” So, I’ll look at it from the lens of a sci-fi book nerd but mostly I’ll just have fun with it, as I read the book years ago.

A Few Good Men

I love Aaron Sorkin’s TV shows especially Sports Night, The Newsroom, Studio 60, and of course the West Wing. So I’ll be looking for those Sorkin signatures in this movie. But also appreciating Jack Nicholson's acting. I heard he acted the heck out of his part on every take.

But I am still having fun posting so I will continue but probably only like 2 movies a day. Last night I did Producers but was flagging at the end of Blade. I'll finish Blade later and then do a couple more

Update: This live post thing is harder than I thought and there isnt exactly much interest so far. Plus the real point of this weekend is to relax

Blade!

As many of you know, I’m a big comic book fan. So that’s the place that this movie will occupy, nerding out about comic books and comic book movies. And I may or may not make some jokes about tax evasion. 😉

The first movie is The Producers!

I’ve loved Mel Brooks movies since I was a kid. Spaceballs, Robinhood Men in Tights. History of the World part 1, Blazing Saddles. The list goes on and on. Somehow I’ve never seen the Producers so I am really looking forward to it!
