Wow - Uk producing 100% of its power this morning via Wind, Solar & Nucleur.

Last night 107% by wind & Nuclear.

Demand dropped to 16.6GW. 17.1 GW produced by wind & Nucleur, the difference being exported to Europe.

I updated this chart, which I made a few years ago. I like the clustering and how the tails help tell a story. This is a particularly useful application of connected scatterplots. Not sure if two juxtaposed line charts would communicate better. #30dayChartChallenge.
A connected scatetterplot comparing education with GDP per capita in purchasing power parity (PPPs) from 2005 to 2023 for various European countries. The main title reads “Education vs. GDP per Capita PPPs (2005-2023)” and the subtitle explains that Portugal’s sharp recent growth in the percentage of people aged 25 to 64 with secondary or higher education has been accompanied by an increase in GDP per capita only in recent years, while former communist countries display oblique line trends that indicate growth in both dimensions.
