You cannot win every year, but what you can do is find a way to support players who have delivered unprecedented success. And before anyone pipes up, by all means be angry about the result and the performance. But also remember the same players you want to kill, set the standards you live by.

In this context, you would expect a lot of lobbying from both sides next week in the run up to the vote which, if it does go ahead, is going to be very close. I still think there is a very good chance the vote will be pulled pending the Tribunal's determination...
