Their rhetoric is fire&mirrors with no practical solutions for real people which means that real people are going to eventually (not right away, but over time) get screwed by this administration, much worse than what they experienced under Biden.

As you have written, the authoritarian right has taken many of the left's issues and spun them around so as to make them unrecognizable: school safety, curbing surveillance, exposing big pharma, and alternative medicine to name a few.
