Yeah they basically half-assed trying to respond to criticisms of the game's story, so now the show's version just comes off as a worse version of the game's story which doesn't appeal to anyone

That also comes from just not knowing about how the industry works, too. Like, the majority of creators have no control over how the trailers for what they're making look like; that's all marketing.

Yeah, MP gachas are a special kind of hell cause you can spend a hundred dollars getting the new cool unit and then they're useless 6 months later. And there's no incentive to buff old units because people already have them

Considering this wasn't made in-house by Nintendo, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mandate that they couldn't make up anything new and just had to reuse names from TOTK

It's the typical of cycle of a game having a system that makes sense for that specific game but then gets adopted by everyone just because it's popular (see: every Souls-like)

This happens to almost all gacha games, it seems. They start out having the grinding be part of the game's main content, but then give you ways to skip it as the game goes along and they start adding more content and the original grind stuff becomes superfluous.

We can at least take solace in the fact that he is incredibly stupid. People asked him what his views on certain issues were and he didn't seem aware that he was expected to have, like, opinions on things.

Yeah I get that, sorry at this point I'm just venting on the stuff that frustrates me about KH3. I really like the game but the plot stuff just gets at me in a weird way

I just can't see how they can make the Pirates world with all this side content, and then make a big city for Big Hero 6 and have it be completely empty, but I'll just have to take them at their word

I definitely was not expecting them to wrap up as much as they did, but I can't imagine that Sanfransokyo came out as they wanted

Yeah, and I'm sure if development went more smoothly a lot of my problems wouldn't be there, but unfortunately the rough dev cycle kinda shows in places

Yeah you're right, which is why I think KH3 suffers the most from the whole "put the whole plot at the end" thing the series does, but that's just me. I'd just like something more like DDD or KH2, while KH3 just feels like the whole game you're waiting for the Keyblade Graveyard
