The cool thing about traveling through rural Idaho as a person of color is nothing. There’s nothing cool about it.

Even the one good coffee place I found with flags and other indicators of being a safe place had lots of folks who stared like they were at a zoo

But coffee was good

Became a sustaining member of my local @npr.org station years ago and won what became my favorite pint glass in a giveaway. I was a huge fan of Car Talk growing up.

I took out my treasured Car Talk glass from the dishwasher and found a big crack in it. Pour one out for my comfort cup. 😭🪦💔

It’s been spoken about before, I know, but I am new to applying around and asking for nominations for #ttrpg and actual play awards. Truly don’t care about winning. Truly.

But the idea that our little story could get into the hands of someone new is so exhilarating. Consider our show pls?
