What do you expect building suburbia in the US’s most extreme fire environment

It’s a place not fit for human habitation because of its natural fire regime tbh. It’s densely inhabited with almost no vegetation do fire line and back burning is out of the question. But it’s wind driven and headed towards the ocean so it slow down as soon as the winds does
