Northants mainly but I have started to keep a record for Yorks and Norfolk.

All followed by a lovely sunset.

Lots of waders to look through included Little Stints, Curlew Sandpipers, Spotted Redshanks and a Pectoral Sandpiper.

A good July record, difficult to tell from 1 pic but it looks like an eclipse Drake. Also some funky head patterns on the Mallards, probably a bit of Eastern Spot-billed duck in there!

Yes, doesn’t normally get seen so early. We saw it mainly in the hedge to the left of those trees and on the ground inside the stw, near the base of the 4 yellow posts. Hope it appears soon.
