Met a celebrity today

After that, there's pages & pages of Menninger bullying Virginia to disavow every interview she's given & VRG’s lawyer Brad Edwards instructing her not to answer unless Menninger gives her specific quotes to clarify as true or false. Virginia follows her lawyer’s advice.

M: So you told Sharon Churcher that Ghislaine Maxwell is the one who told you that she flew Bill Clinton in the helicopter?

V: I told Sharon Churcher that Ghislaine flew Bill Clinton onto the island, based upon what Ghislaine told me.

Well, I reviewed the stuff that got unsealed this year, and I think I found it.

Before I get to that though, I want you to read another short section from that same Daily Mail article- where VRG talks about Ghislaine Maxwell flying Bill Clinton to the island in her helicopter:

'I used to get frightened flying with her but Bill had the Secret Service with him and I remember him talking about what a good job she did.

The next big dinner party on the island had another significant guest appearance being, the one and only, Bill Clinton. He is the only president in the world to be dismissed from his role as a world leader because he was caught with his trousers around his ankles and had the stain to prove it. Publicly humiliating his wife and himseld he retired from his title but not from his lifestyle. This wasn't a big party as such, only a few of us eating at the diner table. There was Jeffrey at the head of it all, as always. On the left side was Emmy, Ghislaine and I. Sitting across the table from us was Bill with two lovely girls who were visiting from New York. Bill's wife, Hillary's absence from the night made it easy for his apparent provocative cheeky side to come out. Teasing the girls on either side of him with playful pokes and brassy comments, there was no modesty between any of them. We all finished our meals and scattered in our own different directions.

Jeffrey wanted his evening massage before bed and Ghislaine and Emmy went to their office to talk about something, leaving our guest of honor to find company elsewhere. Strolling into the darkness with two beautiful girls around either arm, Bill seemed content to retire for the evening.

Now, it’s not unheard of for tabloid garbage rag Daily Mail to take Virginia out of context or even fabricate quotes from her, for her to clarify later in a deposition.

In fact, this same article quoted her saying Donald Trump flirted with her, which she denied when deposed:

Q: All right. What's inaccurate about the last statement on that page?

A: "Donald Trump was also a good friend of Jeffrey's." That part is true. "He didn't partake in any" of- "any sex with any of us but he flirted with me." It's true that he didn't partake in any sex with us, and but it's not true that he flirted with me. Donald Trump never flirted with me. Then the next sentence is, "He'd laugh and tell Jeffrey, 'you've got the life.'" I never said that to her.

Virginia DID “reportedly” say she’d seen Bill on the island & hadn’t seen him do anything wrong. In a Daily Mail article in 2011 she told the story of an island dinner with Bill, Epstein, Maxwell and 2 brunettes she guessed were there to “entertain” Bill:

Yet Virginia Roberts stresses that she was never ‘lent out’ to Mr Clinton.

On one occasion, she adds, Epstein did invite two young brunettes to a dinner which he gave on his Caribbean island for Mr Clinton shortly after he left office. But, as far as she knows, the ex-President did not take the bait.

‘We all dined together that night. Jeffrey was at the head of the table. Bill was at his left. I sat across from him. Emmy Tayler, Ghislaine's blonde British assistant, sat at my right.

‘Ghislaine was at Bill’s left and at the left of Ghislaine there were two olive-skinned brunettes who’d flown in with us from New York.

'I’d never met them before. I’d say they were no older than 17, very innocent-looking.

‘They weren’t there for me. They weren’t there for Jeffrey or Ghislaine because I was there to have sex with Jeffrey on the trip.

‘Maybe Jeffrey thought they would entertain Bill, but I saw no evidence that he was interested in them. He and Jeffrey and Ghislaine seemed to have a very good relationship. Bill was very funny.

'He made me laugh a few times. And he and Jeffrey and Ghislaine told blokey jokes and the brunettes listened politely and giggled.

‘After dinner I gave Jeffrey an erotic massage. I don’t remember seeing Bill again on the trip but I assume Ghislaine flew him back.'

He doesn’t name names, but there’s only 1 person he could be talking about: Epstein survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

There are other context clues I'll get into, but to keep it simple for now: only 3 people have placed Clinton on the island & the other 2 are men. It’s Virginia.

“Citizen: My Life After the White House” came out a couple weeks ago, Nov 19. I got the ebook and immediately cmd+F’d “Epstein”.

The entire section on Epstein is less than two pages long, but here it is in full for the curious:

Throughout 2018 and 2019, the Miami Herald had been publishing stories about the financier Jeffrey Epstein... In part because of that rigorous journalism, Epstein was arrested again in 2019 for those and other crimes... The Herald stories and his rearrest raised questions about several well-known people’s connection to him, including me. They deserved answers and I gave them. In 2002 and 2003, he invited me to fly on his airplane to support the work of the foundation, and in return for flying me, my staff, and my Secret Service detail who always accompanied me, Epstein asked only that I take an hour or two on each trip to discuss politics and economics. He had just donated $10 million to Harvard for brain research and he asked a lot of questions. That was the extent of our conversations. My only other interactions with Epstein were two brief meetings, one at my office in Harlem and another at his house in New York. I had always thought Epstein was odd but had no inkling of the crimes he was committing. He hurt a lot of people, but I knew nothing about it and by the time he was first arrested in 2005, I had stopped contact with him. I’ve never visited his island. When it was suggested that I traveled there without my round-the-clock Secret Service detail, which would explain why there’s never been a record of me being there, in 2016 the Service took the extraordinary step of saying I had never waived protection and they had never been there. Another person reportedly said she’d seen me on the island, but that I didn’t do anything wrong. However, in early 2024, unsealed depositions showed that she’d only heard I was there but didn’t actually see me. Then there was one of my former staffers who fed the story to Vanity Fair. He knew it wasn’t true when he said it. The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward. I wish I had never met him.

Trump was also surprisingly chill with trans people in 2012, overruling a decision by the Miss Universe org to kick out a contestant for being a trans woman. Disappointing to see a longtime ally make such a reactionary turn recently :(
