You don't consume it,yet here you are clicking & posting under it. The fact remains a lie means intent. Unless a journalist has proof it was intentional,stating otherwise violates ethical standards. You should probably stick to social media & podcasts where journalist ethics & standards don't apply.

Exactly. And if you don't want to make the payout, you don't sell the ticket. And you do that by not using language that opens you up to such a payout.

My point is, you can be sued for defamation for saying someone lied unless you can prove in court they knew it was a lie.
