Lucky that Graham went so gung-ho. If they meet in the middle, it will be extremely inconvenient for Russia.

Good enough.

That'd be incest, not pædophilia.

Was about to say, give me the Porsche tank, please and thank you.

If we deem Russian insurance invalid, they could be forbidden to traverse our waters. But international shipping has a lot of rules and procedures, it might not be easy or quick.

No, the only thing that changed, is where they do the ship to ship transfer. They used to sail the ocean going tankers into the Azov Sea and do it there, but with the underwater barriers they put in front of the Kerch bridge, the smaller ships now have to go into the Black Sea to do the transfer.

If only there was some way to weaponize that stupidity.
December 17, 2024 at 9:18 PM
God, you're thick.
December 17, 2024 at 9:13 PM
You are clearly just finding explanations for what you wanted to believe all along. Be on your way, now.

Keep making excuses.

Right back at ya, champ

Those soldiers were never going home, anyway. Leaving NK is a one-way ticket
December 17, 2024 at 5:25 PM
What, to spill oil onto their own coast line? No.
December 17, 2024 at 4:53 PM
I think a lot of his supporters believe him.
December 17, 2024 at 4:48 PM
But keep making excuses.

I get that Americans want to wash their hands of this. Ha hA, wE sAiD aSsUrAnCeS nOt GuArAnTeEs, LoL.
December 17, 2024 at 4:38 PM
That's false. They had hundreds of tactical weapons that didn't have any kind of launch codes.
December 17, 2024 at 4:35 PM
Like I said, it might be more correct to say they were strongarmed into a disastrous deal. There were even Western commentators arguing that Ukraine should keep their nukes.
December 17, 2024 at 4:11 PM
Not really. They put underwater barriers in front of the Kerch bridge, so now these littoral ships have to sail into the Black Sea to offload, which they aren't built for. Before, they would sail larger ships into the Azov Sea and offload there.
December 17, 2024 at 4:01 PM
It's probably better to say they were strongarmed. They were getting cold feet, and shortly before signing it, a US envoy went to Kyiv to make sure they signed.
December 16, 2024 at 9:29 PM
The Ukrainian version says "security guarantees", the English one says "security assurances". Weasel words from the outset. But even that's missing the point completely. If Ukraine is allowed to fall, you will see nuclear proliferation like never before, which is what the BM was meant to avoid.
December 15, 2024 at 7:22 PM
Congrats! Well deserved. I've been listening since the old days with Brian Whitmore on The Power Vertical, always appreciated your insight.

ATACMS is still in production. Also, the US isn't sending $113bn worth of old weapons to Ukraine, they are spending $113bn on replacing what was sent. The value of what was sent is a lot less.

Soviets wanted it written into the deal. Bush said no. And "expansion to the east" at the time, meant expansion of NATO into former East-German territory. Which is also evidenced by Bush's rejection: "The Russians are in no position to dictate our relation with Germany". It's a red herring.
