you can have your own team of pokemon instead of some random one, and id like for there to be unlockable benefits to the player for forming a friendship (playing with) a certain pokemon. can't wait to see what broken pokemon there would be. like you hop online and everyone is piplup for some reason

opponent. i think in the dream you had to beat your opponents *and* win the race but for this you only have to win. no fall damage. you can drown. one of the environments i was thinking of was four wooden lanes that suddenly end and you fall into the water. pikachu would be a good choice (3/5)

or save the rest for the race. there are four pokemon to choose from, you race whoever you didnt pick (example: meowth, bulbasaur and two meowth preevolutions i dreamed up). you can win using sheer speed, adaptations to the environment, special powers, or just beating the shit out of your (2/5)
