And I think there's a correlation between childhood memories and a feeling of otherworldliness, because as children we literally saw the world in a different way. So it makes sense that liminal spaces would evoke nostalgia to trick our minds into feeling like we were in a different reality

I've had dreams that I was able to tell afterwards came from my subconscious trying to remember something specific like a place or a movie, but it was too aimless to recreate it accurately, so the dream would meander through the vibes of it
