The road ahead will undoubtedly be hard. We are deeply concerned about the lack of available housing supports & the effective elimination of our city's only mental health crisis team for kids. We'll continue working with @councilofdc.bsky.social to minimize the impact of these cuts on DC children.

Some highlights:
✅Restoring (once again!) the Office of the Ombudsperson for Children
✅Increased grants for School-Based Behavioral Health clinicians
✅Preventing a harmful return to congregate family shelters
✅Restoring funds that provide 40K DC residents with legal services (saving $$$ in future!)
