🌍 Nearly 1 billion children live in countries at high risk from the impacts of climate change but we have very little evidence to link this to their health and development. The Children and Climate Initiative will address this gap.

Even with a 1.5°C warming limit, more than half of children born in 2020 will face unprecedented heatwaves in their lifetimes. If the world warms by 3.5°C, that figure could be over 90%.

We are working with front line communities to understand their needs and building policies to empower them.
