Unfortunately, the only thing we as consomers can do if a company forcibly shoves AI slop at our asses.

Sometimes you interact with people having a concerning lack of common knowledge and wonder how they function.

Like I can't fathom to at least have a descent understanding in history geography and roughly knowing what's happening around the globe.

I want to learn some game's story or unique mechanics just out of curiosity.

But yep, absolutely not comparable to actually playing the game and people, who do equate them, should stop that and also stop being so heavily opinionated on games they've never played, cuz a content creator said it.

As a kid I watched 2nd hand experiences like let's plays or reviews, because I couldn't afford to buy them or the console.

Nowadays I watch them if I can't easily access them or I know that I will hate it's gameplay
(Not a fan of point & click adv., backtracking, cryptic puzzles, tedious grinding).

The most similar thing that comes to mind is Japan having the Mexican Chicano subculture for some reasons:

Didn't work w. C or C++ before, but I despise Haskell a lot.

Was forced to learn it abruptingly in uni despite Haskell having no future value for us, because it was already legacy by then.

Only value for us was forcing us to use recursion and to teach us the concept of a functional language

As a guy, who never used Blender before, seeing this 3D blender animator talking about all his settings felt like a different world to me as an outsider:

Nope.
The essay is 34% the length of all episodes of a 60's sitcom that ran for 9 years.

274×25min ≈ 114h

I love how the PC gaming storefront is dominated by Steam, because they are a private company w. competent leadership and all those big stock market registered companies can't compete w. Steam by throwing money at it

Being Shareholder-First than Consumer-First is incompatible w. competing w. Steam

Is a driver's license hard to get or expensive in your place?

Just a general question. Like I think it can be beneficial to have one just in case, even if you don't own a car.

I hate how art & design is doomed wo. any future gov regulations.

If companies have free reign and the backlash is negligible, they will absolutely shove us AI slop regardless if we actually want that to begin with.

Politics in that island kingdom is just plain weird.

Glad that my dad didn't immigrate to the UK and chose Germany instead in his youth.
