You definitely don't NEED to be that level going into Burmecia lol.
FFIX can be beaten comfortably without grinding at all. Just need to prioritise the right equipment abilities.

I feel like with Tangle, she's basically the equivalent to a Classic Sonic character with really simple origins.
Whisper is much more complicated but they could use that to their advantage, to bring more people into the comics by not saying too much about her backstory or story from the comics.
