This glitch has been around for a while, I'll share the response I previously posted in the Discord community:
Q: I've reached a very far distance (40km+) and the game no longer generates levels. Why is that? You've reached the community-named "void"! It is quite an accomplishment. The game engine has a math bug that appears at very high distances that prevents further generation. It is a very huge bug to fix because it affects many things. I didn't design the game to be played so far and also don't wish anyone's game to last that long. One day I plan to address this by making the game end far earlier than 40km.

TO FREE PLAYERS: The paywall will return. It’s the right thing to do for this game. Gem Earner price is adjusted by region to be fair and reasonable. It’s permanent and not a subscription. If you lack access to a payment method, please ask a parent or guardian. Chiki’s Chase still offers a lot in its free version, please enjoy it! I won’t paywall critical parts of the game loop. Free updates will continue even into the fourth year of Chiki’s Chase. I also plan to offer occasional price discounts and giveaways. If the news about ads going away still upsets you, please go play a different game! MORE TO COME Updates have been slow! I’m the only person working on the game full time. Life happens. There are more things I want to add to Chiki’s Chase. Many ideas date back to before it first released in 2022. New upgrades, characters, areas, game modes, other systems to play on... it’s part of my dream for the game! Please stay tuned as Chiki’s Chase grows. - dvdfu

UPDATE 2.4 This update is focused on maintenance & bugs. No new major game content this time. Oh yeah, Chiki’s Chase is over 3 years old now! SOME CHANGES - No more video ads - Loading bar instead of Unity splash screen - Fixed pixel resolution - Birthday Cake hat has 3 candles - Android cloud save sync fix - Late-game enemies are a little tougher - Full change list on chikischase.com NO MORE ADS! Back to the original deal! Pay once to be a Gem Earner forever. Past buyers already have this. I regret experimenting with ads. WHY ADS SUCK - Larger app size - Internet required - Your device info and ad analytics are shared with Unity & advertisers - Ads interrupt the game flow and may contain inappropriate content, brainrot - Ads watch don’t actually pay developers well at all. 1 purchase beats 50 hours of ads watched!
