Youre hitting the nail on the head here. The thing is theres just a bunch of hollow straight men out there. Its not for nothing "Patrick bateman" is a character that could both be conceived of and also resonate as a cultural touchstone. As a straight dude myself, i know many men like this.

The Medhi Hasan one was framed as "20 conservatives vs 1 liberal" but then the 20 conservatives are like the most far right extremists. Like a huge part of this seems to be snookering someone into a different discussion than what they expect.

Stop lending credibility to Jubilee as debate, this is just the thunderdome. There's no rules, there's no referee, there's not even a clear premise. Like the Jordan Peterson one was framed as "20 atheists vs 1 Christian" but in the video its not clear JP is a Christian.
