Downloaded videos, saved playlists, videos in history all work, including comments etc. Just the home feed doesn't work for me.

, but definite conscious efforts could have been made otherwise. Many of the side characters are inspired by Chaucer's tales, but no idea on what they would originally have been anyway, except maybe Wat, based on the squire with a "head of fire" (in two senses). Personally, I'm a fan of mixing it up

I misread your previous reply, thinking the diversity mentioned was rooted in factual potential of the time, but in general, as a movie cast, yup, definitely could dish out the diversity with little impact. I know logistically the situation with the extras may have been tough due to filming location

Definite possibility! I mean, in the UK alone, the first Indian-run restaurant (opened 1810), predates the first fish'n'chip shop (1860). Another interesting thing, curry home delivery was available in the UK by 1773, and other restaurants also served Indian food before 1810. Still, loved the movie!

It's a wonderful slice of the 90s that, yes, had its flaws, but won the hearts of many. Great movie for what it was, and some accurate aspects (phreaking, social engineering, dumpster diving) and representation of real hacks and viruses, albeit behind a veil of flashy visuals that don't ring true.

I love that show, all the way through to its ending. Rewatched a few times now!

I agree with your choice. Also from the decade after...

I think Scream, Hackers and Big Trouble in Little China I've seen all at least 4 times, with Hackers and BTiLC both being over 6.

The PItt is a pretty great medical drama and this is coming from someone that cares very little about these medical dramas. Andor will still live rent free in my head and is peak imo.

There's probably a part of me that's "I CAN but do I WANT to?" when CachyOS ran out of the box pretty decently. As a first foray back into Linux after 25 yrs, it's been fine.

What do you use instead? I came to Linux recently from Win and was used to FancyZones. TWM don't really fit my flow, and neither does a scrolling manager like niri. I prefer using KZones Kwin Script... I guess I could adapt, but I like my set zone options as I usually have the same stuff loaded.

Only recently installed CachyOS, wanting to get away from Windows. KDE window management band aids with Kzones etc still doesn't scratch my FancyZones itch. I had never thought about Niri until this and now I'm keen to check it out and change my whole workflow! I need to stop thinking MSWin! TY!
