With respect to recent media coverage of issues related to our Nation and leadership, my team will be addressing directly and privately some significant concerns we have with local media coverage of our Nation and its leaders.

I will do so with ongoing respect and gratitude for our Elders and in support of our youth and families as we collectively advance our shared objectives and build on the progress we have made in recent decades.

While I will be stepping down from my role as Head Chief, I will remain forever committed to the wellbeing of our Nation and will serve our people in other ways.

I accept the decision of the Tsuut'ina Nation members, with gratitude for the decades of support I have received in my role as Chief and leader. It has been an honour to serve and lead the Tsuut'ina Nation for almost 50 years.
