My family is. We also understand that we will have to adjust many aspects of our consumerism going forward. Convenience has unfortunately been grooming us from being thoughtful with the way we spend our money and inadvertently feeding the beasts of companies who have a harmful impact on communities.

All of these actions feel like they just need a short-term distraction from something else they are trying to do. They know that this would be grieved and easily won by the staff. I've seen this tactic utilized by much lower level management in order to get what they need now, knowing they'd lose.
