New year, new stuff for the Challenger: AGM battery, cabin air filter, orange Dodge "war paint" logo dust mats, and a fresh wash. Also oiled the squeaky center console lid, finally. All set for cruising during the long weekend--weather looks to be perfect.

I never noticed until last weekend's rewatch of Halloween II that Nurse Karen (who gets her face boiled off in the scalding hydrotherapy tub) is played by Pamela Susan Shoop, who was also Maggie in the Knight Rider pilot AND Marta from the Knight Rider fourth season premiere!

Been limping along with ancient routers for a long time and finally found a decent deal for an upgrade.
Still not gonna pay WiFi 7 prices, but this should suffice for a good while.

Someone at Creative Labs actually remembered this goofy parrot and Dr. Sbaitso and they’re trying to use them to launch a new product. It’s 1992 again I guess. (Actually, can it be? I’d like that.)

Rented a convertible Mustang in Hawaii last week. Same car we rented 8 years ago, just the updated model. Had the turbo four, but with much improved transmission and better build quality than the last one. Sluggish steering and throttle response, but otherwise and impressive and fun little car.

Looking forward to your posts on B7...I love this series too. The characters and actors playing them are tops. I discovered Paul Darrow through B7 and he's fantastic.

When the original TOS scores for "The Doomsday Machine" and "Amok Time" were released for the 25th Anniversary, I was ecstatic. Picked up this album at a convention in '92.

I had a whole animated GIF of the eponymous button being pressed, but Bluesky doesn't support animated GIFs because apparently web technologies from 30 years ago are too hard to pull off.

General Motors Headquarters at the Renaissance Center on the Detroit Riverfront, informally known as "The Tubes". You can still spot late-'70s Brutalist architecture elements inside, most notably the massive concrete pillars.
