As expected of KyoAni the movie was beautifully animated and the arc it adapts really tugs at your heart strings. The fights were pretty cool too, it’s a shame it’s only in theaters for one day.

I legitimately forgot how much of the first film it abridges so it can jump into the new content. That aside, Bruce Campbell put on a great performance as Ash. Great mix of horror and humor.

Another movie I saw near the end of August. 10/10, as expected of Anno. But seriously, I liked how they portrayed bureaucracy in the beginning of the film. And it was cool how Godzilla was literally an ever-evolving threat.

#12: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Saw this near the end of August. Even though I preferred the 2nd movie as a kid, this one still holds up. It has a great blend of action and comedy, which is pretty refreshing compared to how modern movies do it.
