If you're excited for #MTGxFinalFantasy and you've never played Final Fantasy VI, you're doing yourself a big disservice. FFVI was groundbreaking in 1994 and it's one of the most acclaimed games ever. The Pixel Remaster is a great way to explore this classic story full of amazing characters.

Grand Abolisher only stops the things written on the card. You can still use activated abilities of lands and planeswalkers if something's letting you activate them on someone else's turn, as well as abilities such as cycle, channel, etc. because it doesn't stop those abilities.

There are places where you'd play Screaming Nemesis and it would be fine, but the reason why I suggest it is because it permanently turns off life gain even if it gets removed or its controller leaves the game. Something like the Willowdusk precon might as well pack it up if you play this card.

With the new Commander Brackets, I propose that Screaming Nemesis should probably be a Game Changer. For just three mana, you can cast this and attack right away. Just shoot the life gain player to turn it off for good. Totally fine in some games, but a nightmare for decks around precon level.

Many cards that force players to sacrifice permanents received an Oracle update with the release of #MTGFoundations that specifies who chooses the permanent that gets sacrificed. Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker's new text lets her controller choose what gets sacrificed. Wild. 💀
