How will this work next year with 6 teams? Similar amount for similar performance or will some portion have to be divided by 6 rather than 4?

Ramsdale was on the bench for the first couple of games, so 1 wasn’t available and I don’t think you can change numbers once you’ve worn it in that season.

The other half of the calculation is literally just which competition you’ve been in (3 points for CL, 2 for EL and 1 for ECL) where Liverpool have 4 CL appearances and one EL appearance and Arsenal have 2 CL 2 EL and one season of 0 points

Sounds like they’ve changed it to be based on a combination of which competition each team has been in, in the last 5 years and what their coefficient over that period is.

I’m pretty sure there’s also a difference in the domestic CL TV money allocated depending on the spot, which is already going to get split into a smaller amount by probably having 6 clubs entering

Suspensions carry over from the 1/4 finals and with some teams having played the playoff round, I don’t think someone should get suspended for a semi final for getting 3 yellows in 14 matches, that’s ridiculous.

Not enough is made of the fact that the biggest city in Europe has no top flight referees. Even if it’s not some big conspiracy, you can’t have the best people for any job when such a large percentage of the population is ignored

Liverpool are playing on Sunday and Arsenal on Saturday so no difference in recovery before the next game, so is the only answer for him that all games are played on Saturday at 3pm or Tuesday at 7:45 so that there’s no advantage for anyone at any point in the season

Short answer is no. There’s no ticket transfer and they are doing passport checks at the turnstiles.

I would have scrapped the draw altogether and just had highest remaining plays lowest remaining etc. with the higher seed at home 2nd

Those Liverpool games were the semi final at neutral venues, so didn’t matter which team was considered home in replay. Just looked them up: Hillsborough, Villa Park, Villa Park and Highfield Road
