Open your mouth and say, WA. Mariners 'n Seahawks, Rock 'n Roll. Family 'n friends. "Beisbol been berra, berra good to Chico." -Chico Escuela, fake Mets legend, SNL sports broadcaster
Are the Seattle #Mariners in on Kazuma Okamoto? If not, why not? He seems to match everything that they value. Makes contact, low strikeouts, good average, some power, Gold Glove finalist in Japan. Sign him for 4-5 years but he can be traded in 2-3 when Williamson is stronger and more seasoned.

That would be an amazing, and singular, walkup song. Does the clubhouse nickname "Donk" come before or after the walkup song?
My stupid baseball team the Seattle Mariners currently have a very Italian young man named Dominic Canzone (see attached). He runs around the outfield very much like a donkey. We will work on getting this as his walkup song for the 2026 season. Blessings.

Interesting theory. If only some black perpetrators would kill some billionaires or CEOs we could make an apples to apples comparison.

Haniger will likely be salary dumped in some kind of trade or released. Can't afford him in the lineup anymore. Love the guy and the player he was but seems washed at this point.
If they sign/acquire 1B, there's obviously no room for Arraez. I was suggesting that Arraez could be that 1B/DH instead of the current option (I have Haniger as DH). There might be 5 other preferred options but that doesn't mean the Ms will get one. Looking forward to seeing what they end up doing.

Trying hard to convince Bluesky I really don't want to see any more fantasy artwork or cute cat images. After about a thousand "show less of this" selections, these posts still seem to dominate my feeds.

BREAKING NEWS: Mariners owners decline 3rd overall draft pick
Representing the owners, managing partner John Stanton was quoted, "Jerry and his team have done very well in the middle of the first round. We are comfortable there from a talent and financial standpoint."
