This public meeting is being called by people directly impacted by Connecticut’s probation system. People from neighborhoods across the state will meet with legislators to formally request a Public Hearing and legislative reports on House Bill 6361.

We have a public meeting scheduled for December 17th at the Elmwood Community Center in West Hartford, where the community will have the opportunity to meet with legislators, request legislative reports, and ask that HB 6361 be heard in a public hearing during the 2026 legislative session. This event is free and open to families and people of all ages from across Connecticut. Harvesting Change 2024 was a great night with families sharing food and talking about farming, probation reform, and nutrition.

Our next Statewide Criminal Justice Reform Call is October 14th, 2025, 11:00 AM to 12:00 p.m. We'll be joined by organizers, advocates, and community members focused on various aspects of justice reform in the state.

The Policy Coordinator is the primary staff person for our Monthly Statewide Criminal Justice Reform Call, with responsibilities that include community outreach, legislative advocacy, and community organizing in coordination with Chicks Ahoy Farm’s Community Organizer.

P2A worked with @dianammartinez.bsky.social to revitalize a city park in Middletown, CT. This park is on Miller Street, open to the public, with honey bees, layer hens, & raised grow beds The yields are free for the residents. The project is led by the local residents and Cultivating Justice.

Pathways2Agriculture Interns started incubating chicken eggs to hatch. They will learn about Avian Embryology and how to reproduce, sext, and raise chickens for fresh eggs.
