In March our animated short film Loneliness & Laundry won 4 awards(!!!):

– the Grand Prize & Tokyo Governor's Award at Tokyo Anime Award Festival, plus
– the Lottie Reiniger Award for Innovation & Audience Award at the British Animation Film Festival

"Overwhelmed" doesn’t even begin to cover it 🙈

Elements from our first project using Forger + the final image 🍂

We sculpted these, painted over them in Procreate, and streamed the whole process on Twitch.

Two firsts (the sculpting and the streaming) and one Very Not First (painstakingly painting over 3D objects) 😅

This little rice cooker animation took us a week. At the time we were like "oh my goddd that took SO LONG haha good job we don't work in 2D very much." Then we made a 10-minute film using this very technique! It took us four years! lmao 🤡
