Not just weight, but height of the hood. Taller cars are much more likely to kill.
IIHS infographic showing that car hoods over 40 inches are 45% more likely to kill a pedestrian that they strike then car hoods under 30 inches. Risk also depends on whether the hood is sloping or blunt/vertical. Hoods between 30 and 40 inches if sloping are no more likely than hoods less than 30 inches to kill, but hoods between 30 and 40 inches if vertical/blunt are 26% more likely to kill a pedestrian.

There are 15 dog parks in Seattle, and the only one in West Seattle is here—about as far from the population center of West Seattle as you can be while still being in the city limits

I have a very similar canoe my dad made for me when I was a kid. It’s a little smaller—about 19 lbs. I love cedar strip boats.
Cedar strip canoe in the water tied up to a dock. The paddle is double ended and the seat is low in the boat, like a kayak.

The office dog only jumps on my coworker’s chair when he is absolutely covered in mud. Though if he keeps growing at this rate, he will not fit for much longer.
