My life is now complete. After using the same first word 1080 times, it finally made it.

I have come to believe, people fundamentally want to feel safe, have their family feel safe and will sacrifice personal liberties for this “protection.” People are not voting for the common good, but for their own family’s perception of safety.
The lack of empathy and common good is sad.
