Every underground part of CUS looks bad even at its best. Sucks to go through years of the station “under construction” that results in no improvement to the station.

For the Forest Glen station, I believe CDOT is coordinating with cook county to add protected bike lanes/shared use trail extension on forest glen, so another good reason

Right. Docks on both sides is getting into “would be nice to have” territory, when there’s not even one yet. But since someone is asking, might as well shoot the shot

Yeah, and given the metra station sits above 90, making it not quite simple to navigate to the other side, really could have stations on the northwest hwy side and Milwaukee side. But a real dock at every station should be baseline

Forest Glen Metra station. Jefferson Park Metra station.

When will there be more docks placed on the northwest side?

I don’t know. I think they’re still in phase II engineering, but the phase I concept is here:

Lincolnwood just received $3 million in ITEP funding for the construction of the Pratt bridge.

Further south, CDOT has plans to build (2026) protected bike lanes on Bryn Mawr from the channel to the sauganash trail/weber spur (which also was just added to CMAP’s funding plan)
