So...Ryda asked for a puzzle (we have a "puzzle" word buzzer for him and he asks for a puzzle every day), so I brought out this "Level 4" puzzle that he has solved several times before. This time, I gave him the puzzle and went back to work. Literally 3 minutes later...

Braided cinnamon rolls was the bake for this weekend. Not pictured: the cream cheese frosting that was served on the side. Increasing the 2nd proofing time helped made them 'lighter' this time according to our friends.

This weekend’s bake: Bûche de Noël cookies. I know it’s a little past the season, but I wasn’t 100% happy with the way they came out the first time I made them, so I decided to try again with some modifications and I’m much happier with the way they turned out this time
