CTA and the GRAMMY Award-winning hip-hop superstar Chance the Rapper have launched the new “Enjoy the Ride” campaign as part of a historic partnership. As result of this unique joining of forces, Chance’s voice can be heard at CTA rail stations, encouraging riders to continue supporting CTA.

They've kept trains and buses running, moved snow at stations, and done all they can to allow us to provide a great CTA travel experience. CTA Acting President Nora Leerhsen was also out this morning, thanking employees for their dedication to our riders.

When the temperatures drop and snow begins to fall, CTA’s employees are among the true superheroes of the Chicago region. Many of the hardworking men and women of our great agency have worked overnight and throughout the day to ensure that our riders have had smooth rides.

We are incredibly thankful to the track workers, ironworkers, signal maintainers, carpenters, linemen, sheet metal workers and utility chauffeurs, who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to make this work a success.

These improvements will support more reliable service and were made possible when CTA paused Loop train service from early Saturday morning until early this morning. Our crews also used the opportunity to make key station upgrades in the area.
