Hi Everyone. I'm co-directing and consulting on this staged reading at the Illinois Holocaust Museum. It's tied into the "Resilience—A Sansei Sense of Legacy," and exhibition of art about the WWII internment of Japanese Americans.

There was a period in the 80s when Asian Americans were being highlighted in the news for their academic achievements. On one hand was touting us admiringly as the "Model Minority," on the other hand was some pretty ugly white anxiety.

When I was a kid, I had this great comic strip/comic book compilation titled Superman: From the Thirties to the Seventies. This was by far my favorite of the old 30s stories.
