Casting doubt on Signal is extraordinarily unhelpful. It’s no mistake that it’s recently been the app favored by those protesting the administration. This had NOTHING to do with Signal and everything to do with the vile nature of this dangerous administration.

Why is nobody making the lives of American service members the center of this catastrophic failure of leadership? Security breaches directly endanger them.

I disagree. Socially isolating would-be friends and family who refuse to denounce hate is self-preservation. It’s the only tool we have left.
