i drove a daihatsu move canbus. it is perfectly cromulent, like every NPC-ass kei-van out here.
tons of space, has cutesy looks, blablabla… all i care is it’s easily rentable, and andrew doesn’t complain about the bench seats nor headroom. FANTASTIC. now i don’t have to get rid of my s660 no more😌

anyway, we had important matters in the morning that necessitated a tolerable car on his behalf. and i picked the lapin because it's the only other kei car than the s660 that interests me. my own question was if i was gonna have as much driving fun in a lapin.

so the 3rd gen suzuki lapin i test drove is the cutest car ever & all. but i guess i’m now obligated to look beyond its gimmicks & give an actual review of its merits as a car?
i dunno… it’s An Kei Car. it has ample cargo room. its floaty. it’s practical. it’s slow.

i absolutely hate idle stop features in cars (sorry eco advocates but i’d rather not have my aircon go into swamp mode lol)… but i am willing to leave it on in this lapin just to watch the purin bunnies dance
