Leotard: I used Green Pepper Crystal Lake pattern.
I have to make a small adjustment to the neckline which isn’t a huge challenge. But I am VERY happy how beautiful the pivot looks. 😫👌🏾 I baste stitch a zigzag stitch, then I used my serger for a cleaner finished.

I use Freeform to make my cosplay vision board to help me out with planning and bookmarking. Also I started planning and purchasing Angel Lily’s fabric back in late 2023. So I am excited about the choices.

Neckline:
I used single fold bias tape to have a clear finish to the neck line. I wanted the rounded collar to be separate from the actual dress.

Puffy sleeves: I seen a video tutorial on using tulle, to help hold the shape of puffy sleeves. And instead of using regular sewing thread when pulling the sleeves, this time I used dental floss. I heard embroidery thread helps too. 😊

As a pattern base I used a princess seam for the bodice of Bee’s dress. And used a tailor’s ham to press out the side seams of the bodice. 👌🏾
